    What's TBIN do?

    TBIN is a flexible client management information system (CMIS) used to measure success for local, statewide, and federal projects. TBIN has three main components to its process and success.

    Data Collection:   TBIN Member Agencies are asked to enter data on clients served daily in real-time. There is a minimum set of data to be entered for each client that is shared with the other TBIN Network Agencies. Additionally, TBIN Member Agencies can collect their own custom client questions related to their program requirements.

    Reporting:  Shared client data is accessible by providers using the network through canned reports and an advanced reporting tool. System wide reports are developed by TBIN staff and shared with TBIN member agencies and local funders. Annually reports are shared with the state and federal government. All information in the system that is publicly reported is done so only in an aggregated format with no identifying client information.

    Research & Planning:  The data in the TBIN system is used for education, research, and statistical purposes only. TBIN aggregate data is reviewed by local, state and federal planning bodies. TBIN data is used by these planning bodies in a number of way:

    1. to determine the amount of federal money brought into our community annually;

    2. to determine the success of our providers and continuum in reaching set goals;

    3. to understand the trends in service provision to more effectively plan and fund services.
